Grain terminal Neptune in the seaport “Pivdenny” entered the top 30 outstanding projects implemented in independent Ukraine. The list of projects was prepared by the LIGA publication in cooperation with PMI Ukraine Chapter, the official representative of the international project organization Project Management Institute.
Among the persons involved in the list are such ambitious infrastructure projects as, for example, the Shelter at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, or political ones – visa-free travel with the EU. The main principle of the selection of projects: they strongly influenced the development of modern Ukraine.

Neptune is a joint project of the American corporation Cargill and the Ukrainian company M.V. Cargo “. The latter was specially created for the implementation of the project by co-owners of the TIS stevedoring company Egor Grebennikov and Andrey Stavnitser.
The construction of Neptune has become the largest investment project in Ukraine in recent years, with a total cost of $ 150 million. The project was financed by the EBRD, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and local investors. The total amount of the loan from the EBRD and IFC amounted to $ 74 million, ”the newspaper writes.
The Neptune terminal began operating in test mode in the summer of 2018, and the official launch took place in 2019.
The terminal’s annual design capacity is 5 million tons. The complex includes 14 silos with a capacity of 15 thousand tons and a warehouse for floor storage of grain with a capacity of 80 thousand tons.
