Ukrainian company NIBULON, renowned for its leadership in grain exports and river logistics, is entering new markets on the Middle and Upper Danube. The company is expanding its operations in the region, offering a full-cycle grain export service combined with its own logistics, as well as cargo transportation for various types of goods along the Danube.
The first steps in this direction involved shipments of metal products along the Izmail – Lom (Bulgaria) and Izmail – Smederevo (Serbia) routes, carried out by the tugboats Pereiaslavskyi and Kozatskyi, using company-owned barges. These shipments confirmed NIBULON’s capability to efficiently handle different cargo categories, opening new opportunities for businesses in Bulgaria, Serbia, Romania, and other countries in the Danube region.
Expansion into the Middle and Upper Danube is part of the company’s long-term strategy aimed at maximizing the utilization of its own fleet and advancing international river logistics. NIBULON is not only strengthening its presence in the region but also offering a competitive alternative to traditional grain and cargo transport routes.
“Our fleet is capable of transporting various types of cargo, and this is just the beginning. We offer businesses in the Balkans comprehensive solutions: grain exports combined with our Danube logistics to Constanța, as well as river transportation of any goods between ports in the region,” says Serhii Kalkutin, Director of Logistics at NIBULON.
