Аs of September 18, Ukraine planted 584.6 thsd ha with winter grains, which 11.4% of the plan (5.15 mln ha total), reported the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
More than a half (335.8 thsd ha) has been planted over the past week.
Particularly, wheat planting was conducted through 513.7 thsd ha (11.8% of the plan), barley – 46.9 thsd ha (6.8%), and rye – 24 thsd ha (29.7%).
It is also reported, that in Ukraine, as of September 18, winter rapeseed was planted on 999.6 thsd ha (82.5% of the plan).
