Ukrainian Grain Association reduced the crop forecast of corn production in Ukraine to 36.4 mln tonnes compared to July forecast 38.9 mln tonnes.
“The reduction is explained by the dry weather conditions, which has been observed for the last few weeks in Ukraine and negatively affected the vegetation and yield of corn”.
In these conditions the analysts of UGA estimate the export of corn to be of 31 mln tonnes, which is 2 mln tonnes less than the previous forecast.
