In 2021, the general production of oilseed crops will exceed 22 mln tonnes in Ukraine, up by 20.1% compared to 2020, preliminary forecast of Ukroliyaprom says.
“Sunflower seed crop will grow by 24% to 16 mln tonnes. Rapeseed production will increase by 9%, soybean – by 11%”, – the president of the association Stepan Kapshuk said.
He again emphasized that Ukraine has enough processing capacities to crush the entire production volume. Additionally, the large part of enterprises are multifunctional and can process different crops.
