According to preliminary estimation, Ukraine produced 6.126 mln tonnes of vegetable oils in 2020/21 MY, including 5.8 mln tonnes of sunflower oil, 0.21 mln tonnes of soybean oil and 116 thsd tonnes of rapeseed oil, reported the Association Ukroliyaprom.
Ukraine exported 5.613 mln tonnes of vegetable oils last season, including 5.277 mln tonnes of sunflower oil at the general sum of 5.712 bln USD. Export of soybean and rapeseed oils totaled 233 thsd tonnes and 103 thsd tonnes correspondingly.
The key destinations for Ukrainian sunflower oil were India (29.7%), the EU (28.4%) and China (20.1%).
