Since the beginning of 2019/20 MY (July 1), and as of March 27, Ukraine already supplied 45.296 mln tonnes of grains and pulses on the global market, an increase of 8.6 mln tonnes compared with the figures in the same period of 2018/19 MY, reported the information and analytical web-portal of the Ukrainian agro-industrial complex.
In particular, the shipments of wheat totaled over 17.73 mln tonnes (up 4.49 mln tonnes compared with the same period last MY), barley — 4.27 mln tonnes (up 974 thsd tonnes), corn — 22.763 mln tonnes (up 3.25 mln tonnes), and rye — 5 thsd tonnes (down 83.2 thsd tonnes).
In addition, since the beginning of the current season Ukraine exported 271.5 thsd tonnes of all types of flour, up 70.7 thsd tonnes compared with the same period of 2018/19 MY.
