According to operational data from the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture, as of December 11, cereals and legumes in Ukraine were harvested from 10.767 million ha (92% of the planned area), yielding 55.471 million tons of grain with an average yield of 51.5 c/ha.
It is noted that the harvesting of late cereals is currently continuing, with the following dynamics:
– corn – 25.366 million tons from 3.655 million ha (83%) with a yield of 69.4 c/ha;
– buckwheat – 82.7 thousand tons from 59.4 thousand ha (97%) with a yield of 13.9 c/ha;
– millet – 62.1 thousand tons from 35.8 thousand ha (88%) with a yield of 17.4 c/ha.
As for oilseeds, as of December 11, the following was harvested:
– sunflower – 9.064 million tons from 4.818 million ha (93%) with a yield of 18.8 c/ha;
– soy – 4.78 million tons from 2.017 million ha (98%) with a yield of 23.7 c/ha.
Also, the harvesting of sugar beet is virtually completed, already dug from 197.2 thousand ha, or 99% of the planned area. A total of 10.726 million tons was harvested, with an average yield of 543.8 c/ha.
