According to the regional data, planted area under winter crops of the harvest-2022 amounted to 7.7 mln ha, up 0.4 mln ha y/y in Ukraine, informed the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
Winter wheat and triticale area totaled 6.5 mln ha (+0.4 mln ha), rye – 159 thsd ha (+34 thsd ha), barley – 1 mln ha (+45 thsd ha), rapeseed – 1.02 mln ha (+143 thsd ha).
According to NAAs of Ukraine, winter crops remain in dormancy. Wintering is going well.
