This year the IV GRAIN UKRAINE International Conference will be held on 24-25 May and it will open an “agrarian week” in Odessa. The key market players have already confirmed their participation in Grain Ukraine 2019. The organizers expect to see more than 400 grain market players from 10 countries at this event.
“The event has the status of the most atmospheric agrarian party of the year, where all key issues can be discussed in informal settings. No wonder the motto of the event is “Agrarian titans meet here”, says Irina Bondarenko, the head of Grain Ukraine organizing committee.
This year’s program focuses on the prospects of the Black Sea grain with regard to the trade wars. Participants will discuss global trends in the global grain market, grain trade growth drivers in the Black Sea region and forecasts for the season.

The focus of this year is expert round tables, which allow participants to see different points of view and discuss relevant issues. Thus, at the trading panel the experts will talk about the prospects for Ukrainian grain in the main markets (European Union, Africa, Asian region) and discuss how Ukraine can win the competition with other players of the Black Sea region.
The infrastructure panel will focus on the analysis of the transport strategy of Ukraine and prospects for brand new infrastructure projects aimed at solving transportation problems in the grain market.
At the agrarian panel there will be a discussion covering the key issues of the agrarian strategy of Ukraine 2020.
And finally the participants of the financial panel will talk about the most significant financial projects, as well as about the prospects for financing the agrarian market players.
On 25 May the participants will visit the new MV Cargo grain terminal. In March the MV Cargo terminal was operating in a test mode, and it transshipped its first million tons of grain. Grain Ukraine guests will be shown the latest equipment and advanced facilities of the largest investment project in the agricultural sector of Ukraine over the recent years.
One of the highlights of the conference is its intensive informal communication. This year the organizers are arranging the Big Agrarian Party provocatively titled “What happens at Grain Ukraine stays at Grain Ukraine”. The party headliner is TNMK group.
