As of August 19, agrarians of Ukraine harvested grains and pulses throughout 9.9 mln ha or 62% of the plan. The production volumes reached 43.7 mln tonnes with the average yield of 4.6 t/ha, informed the press-service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
In particular, agrarians harvested 32 mln tonnes of wheat with the yield of 4.62 t/ha throughout 6.9 mln ha (98%). Also, Ukraine harvested 10.027 mln tonnes of barley with the yield of 4.1 t/ha throughout 2.4 mln ha (99%), 559 thsd tonnes of peas with the yield of 2.32 t/ha throughout 241 thsd ha (99%).
Additionally, farmers harvested 2.7 mln tonnes of rapeseed with the yield of 2.75 t/ha throughout 996 thsd ha (99%).
