As of June 17, Ukraine planted buckwheat throughout 79.6 thsd ha or 97.6% of the forecasted area millet – 116.8 thsd ha or 90% of the plan, declared the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture.
Moreover, farmers planted wheat throughout the areas of 176 thsd ha or 99.7% of the forecast, barley – 1.35 mln ha (97%), oats – 193.8 thsd ha (99.9%), peas – 241.9 thsd ha (102.8%).
Moreover, agrarians planted corn for grain throughout 5.35 mln ha (100.9%), sunflower seed – 6.46 mln ha (100.9%), soybean – 1.39 mln ha (98.9%).
Farmers are continuing planting buckwheat (71.1 thsd ha or 89%), millet (97.7 thsd ha or 84%) and soybean (1.39 mln ha or 99%).
