Since the beginning of 2019/20 MY (July 1), Ukraine already supplied 10.062 mln tonnes of wheat on foreign markets, an increase of 3.22 mln tonnes compared with the same period last season, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
At the same time, in the reporting period the general supplies of Ukrainian grains and pulses on foreign markets totaled 16.1 mln tonnes. In particular, the exports of barley reached 3 mln tonnes, and rye — 4.1 thsd tonnes.
It was noted that Ukraine continued increasing the rates of corn exports. Thus, the exports totaled 2.756 mln tonnes, up 750 thsd tonnes compared with the same period last season.
In addition, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy fixed the growth in the export shipments of Ukrainian flour in the reporting period to 99 thsd tonnes (up 41.1 thsd tonnes).
