Since the beginning of 2018/19 MY (July 1), and as of March 18, Ukraine already supplied more than 35 mln tonnes of grain crops on foreign markets which is up 5.8 mln tonnes compared to the same period last year, declared the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection (SSUFSCP).
In particular, Ukraine exported over 12.7 mln tonnes of wheat, down 0.9 mln tonnes year-on-year, and over 3.1 mln tonnes of barley (-0.8 mln tonnes). Also, Ukraine shipped 18.4 mln tonnes of corn, which is up 7.5 mln tonnes year-on-year.
In addition, in 2018/19 MY Ukraine already supplied 3.8 mln tonnes of oilseeds on foreign markets (-0.5 mln tonnes y-o-y).
