Since the beginning of 2019/20 MY (July 1), and as of May 22, Ukraine already supplied 53.412 mln tonnes of grains and pulses on the global market, an increase of 8 mln tonnes compared with the figures in the same period of 2018/19 MY, reported the information and analytical web-portal of the Ukrainian agro-industrial complex.
In particular, the exports of wheat reached 19.925 mln tonnes (+5.158 mln tonnes to the year ego figure). The foreign shipments of barley totaled 4.79 mln tonnes, corn — 28 mln tonnes, and rye — 8.2 thsd tonnes.
In addition, since the beginning of the current season Ukraine exported 310.2 thsd tonnes of all types of flour, up 48.1 thsd tonnes compared with the same period of 2018/19 MY.
