Ukraine and the Netherlands are natural partners in the agribusiness sector as 2 global agrarian powerhouses and this is reflected in the trading volumes from 2018, with Holland being the largest EU importer of Ukrainian produce and Ukraine importing record volumes from the Netherlands.
Last May in Amsterdam over 120 senior agribusiness executives, drawn equally from Ukraine, Holland and neighbouring countries, gathered for a productive day of networking and exchanging of information, leading to the establishing of numerous new business relationships and we look forward to building on that platform this year.
We are pleased to announce that Olga Trofimtseva, Acting Minister of Agrarian Policy & Food of Ukraine, has already agreed to once more head up the delegation from Ukraine and will be accompanied by such respected figures as Oleksiy Pavlenko, former Agrarian Minister and Co-Head of the Ukrainian-Dutch Joint Business Council, as well as H.E. Vsevolod Chentsov, Ukrainian Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
They will be joined by an expert speaker panel, who will address such key issues as: trading, logistics and infrastructure, financing, AgTech, growth markets and exports, trade and investment dynamics, organic production and moving up the value chain.
We will shortly be announcing further exciting speaker confirmations, as well as key sponsors and partners of the Forum.
Join us in Rotterdam at the end of May for what promises to once again be an information-packed and productive gathering of representatives of 2 leading global agribusiness players.
