III Annual Conference “Transport Logistics and Warehouse in Agribusiness”

For many years the issues of storage and transportation of manufactured products remain one of the most acute for Ukrainian agribusiness. New and modernized elevators have been built, grain storage facilities are equipped with the most modern equipment, but it is impossible to say that everything is smooth in this area. There are distortions with the geographic location of large and small elevators, disputes still remain about the expediency of mixing grain lots on linear elevators.

And, unfortunately, despite the process of reforming the transport services market in Ukraine the situation with transportation in the country remains very tense. Many grain companies are interested in using river transport, but the necessary laws have not been adopted. Recently the Ukrainian monopolist Ukrzaliznytsia is going to a dialogue with the grain producers, announcing the changes, but nobody has yet seen the results. Agrarians and traders instead of increasing exports and entering new markets are forced to solve transport issues. With some challenges you can cope at the level of effective organization of work of logistics departments of agricultural enterprises and some are in the competence of state bodies.

These and other topics will be the subject of close scrutiny at the III annual conference “Transport Logistics and Warehouse in Agribusiness”, which ProAgro Group will hold on May 17, 2018. Among the main issues:
