The State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations announces the start of negotiations regarding the purchase and supply of wheat under the humanitarian food initiative Grain from Ukraine, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine reported on December 7.
The subject of the negotiations is the delivery in 2022 of two batches of wheat not lower than the 3rd grade. The first batch of 27 thsd tonnes should be delivered to the Turkish ports of Samsun or Tekirdag on a CIF basis. The second batch (32 thsd tonnes) should be delivered to Port Sudan (Sudan) on the same basis.
It is also specified that measures to provide humanitarian aid to the certain countries under Grain from Ukraine initiative are carried out in compliance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine as of November 24, 2022 No.1313 “On the provision of humanitarian aid to the countries of Africa and Asia.”
