5% of the area under grains in Ukraine remains unharvested

As of November 30, Ukraine harvested in grains and pulses were on a total area of 10.354 mln ha (95% of the forecast). With the average yield at 55.43 t/ha, production reached 56.254 mln tonnes. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine with reference to the harvesting progress.

As of the reporting date, the harvesting of corn continues, which has already been threshed on 3.441 mln ha (85% of the forecast), of which 26.79 mln tonnes have been harvested at a yield of 7.58 t/ha.

The indicators of the harvesting of oil crops, which has already been practically completed, are as follows:

• sunflower seed – harvested from 5.01 mln ha (99%), yield – 2.38 t/ha, production – 11.936 mln tonnes;
• soybeans – harvested from 1.8 mln ha (99%), yield – 2.65 t/ha, production – 4.78 mln tonnes.

The total harvest of oilseed is estimated at 20.719 mln tonnes.

“Thus, the total production of grains and oilseeds in Ukraine reached almost 77 mln tonnes. Five regions of Ukraine have already completed the harvest – Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Odesa, Zaporizhzhya and Mykolaiv,” the report emphasizes.
