As of March 23, 18 regions of Ukraine have already started the spring planting campaign, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine reported.
“In general, as of March 23, all categories of farms planted 293 thsd ha of grains and pulses, including 76.1 thsd ha of spring wheat, 168.1 thsd ha of spring barley, 35.3 thsd ha of peas and 14.2 thsd ha of oats,” the message states.
