Within frames of the meeting with representatives of the Anti-Monopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU), the Ukrainian Grain Association (UGA) noted that Ukrainian agrarians face the deficit of logistics capacities, including additional railway power of locomotives for transportation of crop raw materials, declared the press-service of the Anti-Monopoly Committee of Ukraine on July 3.
To date, Ukraine requires at least 300-500 locomotives to ensure the well-balanced transportation process. At the same time, the country has 30 new locomotives of General Electric, and another 40 locomotives will come in the following two years, said the acting Executive Director of UGA, Serhiy Ivaschenko.
According to representatives of the UGA, the officials have to adopt the draft law #9512, which allows the activities of private railway carriers.
