Ukrainian agrarians already harvested grains and pulses throughout the areas of 5.1 mln ha, or 52% of the forecast, and produced 17.4 mln tonnes of grains, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine on July 16.
In particular, Ukraine harvested wheat throughout the areas of 3.3 mln ha (51% of the forecast), and produced 12 mln tonnes of the grain, with the yield of 3.59 t/ha, while barley — 1.5 mln ha (61%), 4.9 mln tonnes respectively, with the average yield of 3.24 t/ha.
Also, Ukrainian agrarians started harvesting rye. As of the reporting date, the harvested areas reached 6 thsd ha (5%). The production volumes totaled 16 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 2.58 t/ha. In addition, agrarians started harvest oats, and harvested 5 thsd tonnes of the grain throughout 2 thsd ha (1%), with the yield of 2.23 t/ha.
Ukraine harvested peas throughout almost three fourth of the planned areas: 223 thsd ha (78%), with the yield of 2.23 t/ha, and the production of 497 thsd tonnes.
At the same time, agrarians continued harvesting winter rapeseed: the oilseed production totaled 1.9 mln tonnes, the yield — 2.26 t/ha, and the harvested areas — 838 thsd ha (65%).
