Ukraine harvested more than 50 mln tonnes of grains -

As of October 26, farmers of Ukraine harvested grains and pulses throughout 12.9 mln ha or 84% of the planned area. The production volumes reached 50.5 mln tonnes, declared the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine.

– corn was harvested throughout 2.8 mln ha or 52% of the planned area. The output reached 13.1 mln tonnes;

– millet was harvested throughout 147.7 thsd ha or 98% of the planned area. The output reached 240 thsd tonnes;

– buckwheat was harvested throughout 76.5 thsd ha or 97% of the planned area. The output reached 99 thsd tonnes;

– sunflower seed was harvested throughout 5.9 mln ha or 92% of the planned area. The output reached 11.6 mln tonnes;

– soybean was harvested throughout 1.08 mln ha or 80% of the planned area. The output reached 2.2 mln tonnes.

As of October 26, farmers harvested 66.8 mln tonnes of main agricultural crops throughout 21.03 mln ha.
