According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, since the beginning of 2018/19 MY and as of June 5 Ukraine shipped 47.257 mln tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 9.891 mln tonnes higher compared to the same period last MY.
In particular, the export of wheat totaled 15.137 mln tonnes (-1.26 mln tonnes year-on-year), barley – 3.526 mln tonnes (-684 thsd tonnes y-o-y) and rye – 88.2 thsd tonnes (+53.2 thsd tonnes). Herewith, the shipment of corn reached 27.850 mln tonnes which is 11.3 mln tonnes higher compared the previous season.
It is also noted that in the reporting period Ukraine exported 270.9 thsd tonnes of flour (-125.6 thsd tonnes), including 269.7 thsd tonnes of wheat flour.
