Ukrainian Grain Association`s new forecast for cereal production in 2019-2020 MY stands at 97,7 million tonnes, it is higher than the August forecast in 95,2 mt. It is said in Supply & Demand Balance of the grain and oilseeds cultures.
Although, the forecasts for the export stays the same, on the level of the August forecast in 58,2 million tonnes.
According to the S&D balance, changes in the forecast referred to all major grain cultures. The crop of the wheat can reach 28.3 million tonnes (against 27.7 mt in the August forecast), barley – up to 9 mt (against 8.6 mt), corn – 35.4 mt (against 34 mt).
As for oilseeds, soybean production is expected at the level of 4.3 million tonnes (against 4.1 mt in the August forecast). The production of rapeseed remains almost at the level of the August forecast – 3.1 million tons.
