“River Forum 2019” will be held in Kiev

Volumes of transportation by inland waterways in Ukraine increase every year. Over the past five years, they have doubled – in 2018 almost ten million tons of cargo were transported along the Dnipro River. Several new players started their business activities. They bought the river fleet and have possibilities, in particular, increase grain shipments along the Dnieper and Southern Bug. The business is investing in the construction of transshipment complexes and looking for places to build new warehouses and elevators.

On March 6, the “River Forum 2019” will take place in Kiev. River transport market participants will discuss about possibilities for building warehouses, elevators, terminals on the river bank, problems of fleet creation and cargo attraction.

The organizer of the forum is the “Ports of Ukraine” publishing house. Forum partners – European Business Association and Ukrainian Grain Association.

The forum will consist of three discussion panels. In the break “Ports of Ukraine” will give awards to river terminals that have exceeded the largest number of goods, as well as those that have shown the best growth dynamics.
