Intra-corporate fraud is one of the most widespread and many-sided enemies of agribusiness, with which it is difficult to fight. At the ProAgro Group conferences the need to build a corporate culture aimed, among other things, at preventing theft and fraud was discussed more than once. But given the economic situation and the Ukrainian mentality, at the lowest production level the fight against fraud is stalling. Agro-companies spend considerable money on fighting the pinpoint manifestations of the problem, certainly in some cases they are successful. However, a systematic approach to combating fraud is still common in large companies. The leaders of the small continue to turn a blind eye to the scale of theft, only occasionally conducting demonstrative raids and checks. Agrarian raiding also became a dangerous risk of agribusiness.
Summarizing the existing risks of fraud and the successful experience of agro-companies in combating them, on April 5, 2018 the Information Company ProAgro Group will hold the IV Agrarian Risks and Anti-Fraud Conference. Speakers of the event – professionals who are professionally engaged in providing security in agro-enterprises – will share their views on solving fraud problems in the industry. Representatives of agro-companies will tell colleagues about new schemes and methods of both the actual abuses themselves and the fight against them.
Here are just the main topics planned to be discussed at the conference:
The fight against fraud should become part of the corporate management system of the agro-company. The success of this struggle depends on the desire of the company’s management to organize it systematically and even lead it! And the forthcoming conference is a good opportunity to learn from the experience of agro-enterprises successfully combating theft and fraud, opposing raiding and protecting their property.
